The Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Program (STEP) seeks to empower scientists and engineers with crucial entrepreneurial skills for sustainable innovation models. It addresses challenges in tech commercialization due to limited training and support to become entrepreneurs.

Powered by DOST-PCIEERD, STEP fosters an entrepreneurial mindset, bridging research and business, enabling participants to identify commercial prospects, create plans, and convey research value to investors. The goal is to cultivate spin-off companies for innovation commercialization, as it builds on participants' research experience.
