Roland Benzon and the Wika Technology
One of the episodes of "Imbento Lang!" features Roland Benzon, a visionary inventor and co-founder of Wika. Roland, a patent author, brings over 30 years of experience in software, mobile communications, IT, and media, as well as international business development. His current affiliation with AIPO's Blue Nest Incubation Program has been instrumental in the development of Wika.
So, what is Wika? It's a transformative technology designed to enhance the media experience for people with hearing and/or visual disabilities. Wika uses augmented reality to provide synchronized sign language, closed captions, and audio descriptions, making movies, TV shows, and videos accessible to all. In his episode, Roland shares the fascinating journey of creating Wika and the inspiration behind this innovative solution.
